The app
Does SeeClap provide channels or movies?
No. SeeClap is a player: it does not provide, sell or host any content. You add your own legally acquired subscription or your own files.
Which playlists are compatible?
Xtream Codes, M3U or M3U8 with an XMLTV guide, OneStream, and the SeeClap local server for your files.
How many playlists can I add?
Up to 4 provider playlists per account, subscribed or not. The SeeClap local server does not count.
Are my credentials safe?
They are encrypted with your password: even SeeClap’s server cannot read them.

Apple TV (tvOS 16.4 or later), Android TV, Google TV and Chromecast with Google TV, and Fire TV with Fire OS 6 or later.

Does SeeClap work on Mac?
On Apple silicon Macs (M1 and later), the iPad app installs and opens in a window.
Do I have to type a password on the TV?
No: the TV shows a code or a QR code that you approve on your phone.

Subscribe from the App Store or Google Play on another device, then sign in to the same account on the Fire TV.
Playback
A video will not start.
Open the app’s diagnostics: they check the internet, the server, the account and playback, and tell you exactly what is blocking.
There are no subtitles.
SeeClap can look for them online from the recognized title. Language and style are set in the preferences.
Catch-up does not appear.
Catch-up depends on your provider and the channel: SeeClap only shows it when it is offered.
