An independent studio that builds one thing, and builds it properly: a player for the playlists you already own.

The product

A player, not a catalogue

SeeClap turns an IPTV subscription — Xtream Codes, M3U, M3U8 — into a library you can actually read: posters, synopses, cast, seasons in order, and playback that picks up exactly where you stopped. On iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Android and Android TV, the same library follows you from one screen to the next.

What the app does not do matters just as much. SeeClap ships with no catalogue, no channel list and no address of any kind, and it is affiliated with no IPTV provider. The playlist is yours, obtained legally by you; the app reads it, and stops there.

One aim, deliberately narrow

Make the playlist you already own pleasant to watch, on every screen in the house — and stay a tool pointed at your own content, never a shop selling you someone else's.

The studio

Independent, and small on purpose

SeeClap is developed by CodingByJerez and published on the App Store and Google Play by See Apps Studio LLC. There is no investor to satisfy and no growth target to hit — which is exactly why the app can stay a player, and refuse to become a shop.

SeeClap reaches the App Store: an IPTV and Xtream player for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.

Android & Android TV

The app is ported to Android phones and tablets, then to television boxes and Android TV sets.

Ten languages

The app, the store listings and this site are maintained in ten languages, from a single set of translation files.

SeeClap Server

A server for your own films, in public beta. It runs on a machine you already own, and nothing leaves your network.

What ships next is decided by what breaks and by what people ask for. There is no roadmap beyond that, and the contact page is the whole process.

Our commitments

What you can hold us to

None of these is a slogan. Each one can be checked — in the privacy policy, in the app, or on the machine in front of you.

We supply no content

No catalogue, no channel list, no address. SeeClap reads the playlist you provide and nothing else, and we are affiliated with no provider.

Your credentials stay yours

Playlist logins are encrypted end to end. The keys live on your devices only: we cannot read them, and neither could anyone who walked off with our database.

Your machine, if you prefer

SeeClap Server keeps your films on a disk you own and answers on your local network only. No cloud, no upload, no copy of your library on our side.

We say when it is not ready

SeeClap Server is labelled beta everywhere it can be downloaded, and its FAQ says plainly what it cannot do yet. A defect announced becomes a report; a defect hidden becomes a broken product.
