Install SeeClap and connect your TV

Choose the right device

Install SeeClap from the App Store on Apple TV, or Google Play on a compatible Android TV / Google TV device. The television’s operating system matters more than its brand: Samsung Tizen and LG webOS do not have a native SeeClap app. An Apple TV or compatible HDMI box can be connected instead. Your device’s store lists compatibility for the available version.

Sign in with a code

First sign into SeeClap on a phone or tablet.

1. Open SeeClap on the TV to display its connection code.
2. On the phone, open Settings → Code connection and enter the TV’s code.
3. Check the device named in the request, then approve on the phone.
4. Once connected, select your playlist on the TV.

Use the QR code

On your signed-in phone, open the SeeClap scanner from Settings, Profile or the playlist selector, depending on the screen. Scan the TV’s QR code and approve the matching request. If it expired, display a new code on the TV and try again.

Remote control basics

Use arrows or the touch surface to move focus, then OK or select to open an item. Hold select on a thumbnail for its actions. Back/Menu goes up one level. The side menu opens films, series, live TV and playlists. Mobile Profile actions are in Settings on TV.

A feature is missing or the TV stops responding

Downloads, scanning and programme reminders are phone and tablet features. If focus gets stuck, try Back/Menu and reopen the screen. If needed, quit and reopen SeeClap. Record the TV model and affected screen for support. Recover a locked playlist with a phone or tablet already signed in.
